If you’ve followed this blog, you’ve been introduced to me so it’s only fair, and certainly long overdue, that you learn something about my friend Kevin. Ted Lasso would probably call this an owed ode. I’ve known Kevin, or Ktown … Read More

Introducing tMP Athlete, Randen Plattner
In a previous life, I was an athlete. Everyday, I get a little further from those glory days. The only things I have left of my peak physical performance now are some memories, a few scars, a bum ankle, and … Read More
Joking Around
I remember all the shots from a round for several hours after the last putt drops. I remember the best jokes and laughs for years. I retell my favorites every round I play with someone new. I break out the old “do you know how much this pin flag weighs?” bit literally all the time. It’s become a calling card of sorts. Having Fun When You’re Having No Fun At All
I’m not going to spoil the book in the hopes that you’ll be intrigued enough to go out and get it yourself. I want everyone to read Tom’s books in the hopes that he’ll be so successful that he’ll do another one. I need my fix and I’m quickly running out of this book. Polarized? Or Pulverized?
It’s that time of year again. The leaves are changing color and starting to litter the ground. The goblins and ghouls won’t be too long after. But, for me, one of the real signs of the fall are the yard … Read More
A Lot Can Change in a Year…
It was almost exactly one year ago. And here we were, once again driving in the early morning darkness of a September morning to another unknown golf course to have a “business meeting” and a match. The destination this time: … Read More
“So What?”
It’s such a simple question but sometimes I have to say it to myself just to make sure I’m on the right track. “So what? What is the purpose of this?” I heard it a lot in graduate school. “So … Read More
